TYSTEBAU

Since launching STAEDTLER Teachers’ Club back in 2012, Equinox has gone one-step further than traditional marketing campaigns, by creating two-way engagement with our core target audience, through smart artist endorsement, innovative social media content and practical curriculum-linked resources. Equinox has succeeded in creating a community for primary school teachers in the UK and as a result we have been able to build brand ambassadors straight from the classroom. Each flagship campaign has generated more entries than the one before, our social media following and engagement is high and our Teachers’ Club members are thriving. Equinox approaches all campaigns with professionalism and creativity and they don’t just meet targets they exceed them.

Rachel Woolley, Marketing Manager, STAEDTLER UK

Over the past 19 months, Equinox has become a valued extension of our internal team and has been instrumental in helping us to rebrand and reshape how Neath Port Talbot is promoted across the UK.

Sylvia Griffiths, corporate communications and equalities manager, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council

We have been working with Equinox for the past six years. They have been quick to get to grips with the complexities of our business and have been a great asset in helping us generate positive media coverage, manage important stakeholders and co-ordinate the multiple partner organisations involved across for our flagship developments in both Wales and the South West.

Charlotte McCarthy, head of PR and communications, St. Modwen

The quality of media coverage that Equinox has consistently delivered for us over the last four years has been second to none and has really helped us spread the message that everyone in Wales has a responsibility to take pride in their communities and tackle fly-tipping together.

Gary Evans, project manager, Fly Tipping Action Wales

It was a pleasure to work with Equinox on our annual Unity Festival. We felt that Equinox understood all our objectives in promoting the festival, and really signed up to the whole ethos of our event. Communication with the company was always easy, with responses to queries or press requirements handled quickly and efficiently. As a result we were very happy with the coverage the festival received, but also with the commitment that Equinox staff showed to our particular event, attending openings and performances, and with one member of staff even becoming a volunteer during the time of the festival. In short we felt that Equinox staff cared for what our festival stands for, which showed through in their promotion of our events. They became an extended member of the team and we couldn’t really have asked for more.

Ben Pettitt-Wade, Unity Festival Director, Hijinx Theatre

We have worked with Equinox communications for more than two years and throughout that time, their team has become part of our team. Totally focused on the job in hand, always pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved and driving the pace. Zara, Kate and Helen are always available, happy and never too busy to help out. We could not have achieved what the campaign has achieved without their creative and professional input.

Vicki Spencer, Campaign Manager, The Valleys Heart and Soul

We find Equinox’s enthusiasm, expertise and creative ideas invaluable. They help think of lots of innovative ideas to get the message out and generate great media coverage on the radio, in local and national press and across social media channels. The team really put us at ease, instilled us with absolute confidence, were prepared to quite literally ‘pitch in’ as we prepared for photo shoots, media coverage, interviews and launch events and were really good fun whilst maintaining absolute professionalism.

Nicola Sumner-Smith, Senior Rural Regeneration Officer at Creative Rural Communities

We at the Heritage Lottery Fund have been impressed and very pleased with the work of Equinox: over the last eight years, their hard-working, enthusiastic and professional team, time and again, has come up with hugely creative ideas which have driven three highly successful PR campaigns, as part of a wider communications strategy.

Jennifer Stewart, Heritage Lottery Fund Manager for Wales

Impressed by their enthusiasm and their understanding of our needs. Since their appointment they have been to visit the marketing team in our international HQ and our Head of Communications was very impressed.
Equinox clearly understand our needs and the reality of our budget. They plan carefully but are also flexible to meet changed circumstances.

Richard Houdmont, Chartered Institute of Marketing in Wales

Equinox got to grips with our business very quickly and has now become an extension of Oakwood’s marketing team, proactively driving media relations campaigns and responding to press enquiries as and when required.
The team’s knowledge of the tourism industry, their media contacts and their results-driven focus has achieved some fantastic press coverage for Oakwood, often on a very tight-turnaround.

Zoe Wright, Marketing Manager, Oakwood Theme Park

Equinox’s knowledge of the transport sector is second to none, and we have certainly reaped the benefits working alongside the team on a variety of bus service launches and community-based promotions.
Results-driven and focused, Equinox’s honest appraisal of PR opportunities also gives the company a refreshing competitive advantage.

Nathan Williams, Marketing Manager, Stagecoach

The team were proactive in generating positive media coverage through press relations, campaign activity and events.
They also worked with our stores in the Central South area of England and the fact that they won this account, though based in Cardiff, is testimony to their ability.

Jo Moody, Head of Public Relations, Specsavers Opticans

During a crisis, Equinox was seen to be highly dependable, highly professional and very thorough. Everyone I’ve heard speak of the company has aired similar sentiments.

Annie Garthwaite, Managing Consultant, ITV

Because Equinox clearly has the right skills set, good relationship management and flexibility they are well placed for non-Welsh organisations doing business in Wales.
Having worked closely with them during a ‘client crisis situation’, they demonstrated an excellent view of Welsh media and politics, with exceptional local know-how.

Richard Cox, Director, salt

Since appointing Equinox in 2006, the whole team have continued to provide the Red Dragon Centre with invaluable support and expertise in delivering a proactive PR campaign to support the overall marketing strategy.
Their proactive and creative approach has heightened awareness of the Centre across a broad range of media channels, and has maximised awareness of the Red Dragon Centre as one the premier entertainment destinations in the area.

Emma Johnstone, Marketing and Tenant Liaison Manager, The Red Dragon Centre

Equinox has worked with us to manage and co ordinate a full integrated marketing campaign for Talbot Green Shopping Park since summer 2007.

They have introduced a fully integrated campaign for the scheme, identifying and utilising a variety of innovative marketing techniques thus maximising awareness of Talbot Green amongst target audiences.

Jonathan Jessop, Savills Commercial

Equinox approach our campaign briefs with great creativity and professionalism. Their ideas are easy to implement and proved extremely effective.
We are immensely pleased with the coverage that is achieved in the media. It contributed significantly to getting our key messages to as wide an audience as possible.

Vanessa Schotes, Head of Marketing, Arriva Trains Wales

We were very impressed with the creative ideas Equinox came up with to generate a buzz around our opening night.
Both launch events were extremely successful with over 700 guests and most importantly it was the right audience.

Nirali Desai, Marketing Manager, Zerodegrees

The North Wales NHS Trust appointed Equinox to provide crisis PR support to the in-house communications manager. Equinox provided the Trust with invaluable support, expertise and experience.

They provided the capacity required to deal with the intense media scrutiny that followed our announcement of the problem and ensured that the on-going coverage was monitored and responded to as necessary.

Andy Scotson, North East Wales NHS Trust
